Is there a danger from longterm EMF high and low frequency exposure?
Research shows there is.
Hazards range from extremely low, to very low frequency exposures. Evidence is emerging that long-term exposure to certain EMF devices pose health risks and related to certain cancers, Alzheimer’s disease, male infertility. Health symptoms such as headaches, concentration difficulties, sleep problems, depression, a lack of energy, fatigue, and flu-like symptoms, can occur occasionally but over time they may increase in frequency and severity.
Definitions:
Extremely low frequency electric (ELF EF) and magnetic fields (ELF MF) (3 Hz to 3 kHz)
Sources: electrical wiring, lamps, and appliances, electric car batteries
Very low frequency electric (VLF EF) and magnetic fields (VLF MF) (3 kHz to 3 MHz)
Sources: electrical wiring, lamps (e.g. compact fluorescent lamps), and electronic devices
Electric vehicles deliver from extremely low frequency to high frequency of several Hz up to 300 Hz.
High frequency magnetic field emissions 200 MHz to 30 MHz Radio-frequency radiation (RF) (3 MHz to 300 GHz) is emitted from radio and TV broadcast antennas, Wi-Fi access points, routers, and clients (e.g. smartphones, tablets), cordless and mobile phones including their base stations, and Bluetooth devices.
Magnetic fields can be the driving effect on health: Magnetic fields self generate by electromagnetic physics. EMF generates MF. The magnetic component (magnetic field—MF) of EMF is not shielded by the vehicle construction and penetrates the driver’s cabin and passenger areas.
Electric Car emission inside the cabin emits Magnetic field 100 µT -30 µT
The EMF exposure is usually assessed by EMF measurements at home and at work. A comprehensive medical history, which should include all symptoms and their occurrences in spatial and temporal terms and in the context of EMF exposures, and epigenetic SNPs, (single nucleotide polymorphism) are key to making the diagnosis.
The goal is to reduce exposure by using protective shields and distancing from devices. However, magnetic fields still penetrate. Mitigating magnetic fields can be achieved by installing devices that can modulate the EMF from the device to EMFs in physiological ranges.
