What is Naturopathic Medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. It is based on the healing power of nature and it supports and stimulates the body’s ability to heal itself.

Like so many healers in my field, I am very excited about finding effective therapies to successfully help people seemingly “stuck” into

repeating patterns of pain and disease. Often my patients report that they have been searching through various medical and healing systems for years. Just as I have integrated the Three Treasures of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the principles of Life Force in Naturopathic Medicine, I have combined the work of Dr Gilbert Ling on Redox mechanisms. Redox mechanisms signal molecules to detect and direct chemical pathways for healing and repair.

Because I have looked into the nature of wellness as the flow of electromagnetic forces and movement of charge and how it relates to the philosophy of Chinese Physiology, all disorder is the result of obstruction to the energy flow of one kind or another.

Revealing deficiencies and excesses using many tools in my practice including a focused physical exam, functional analysis of blood and urine tests, as well the environmental trigger the expression of genes. You have many genes which control how well your body digests nutrients and clears toxins in the body. Included in your first intake, Traditional Chinese Medicine is utilized by examining the  Tongue and Pulse which tells me details about what organs and systems need help. Learning what pattern of imbalance my clients may have will determine the best match of Chinese herbal formula to use, supplements, and corrective menu planning and activity.

Often using acupuncture or needless acupuncture with gentle microcurrent treatments help to accelerate healing and rebalance any psychological and emotional traumas or cognitive issue. For some patients hormone replacement, or biological injection therapy with PurePRP and growth factors, or traditional prolotherapy help to focus accelerated healing in muscles and joints.
